Henson Consulting was proud to support pro-bono client Bright Pink’s Fab-Fest 2012 with E! News Host Giuliana Rancic, Bill Rancic, Windy City Live’s Val Warner and Bright Pink Founder Lindsay Avner. Bright Pink is the only national, non-profit organization focusing on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women while providing support for high-risk individuals.
The event was attended by more than 400 young women—and a few men!— and raised $240,000 to support Bright Pink’s education and awareness programs. HC led media relations efforts and secured placements across a variety of local and national outlets including E! News online, which reaches 7.2 million readers per month.

Gwen Stefani Got Milk With Kingston and Zuma

Cuteness alert—Gwen Stefani and her sons, Kingston and Zuma, had a morning full of milk and cookies!
The No Doubt frontwoman took a break from recording the group’s much-anticipated new album to stop by L.A.’s Skirball Cultural Center yesterday for the third annual Milk + Bookies Story Time Celebration benefit.
While Stefani wasn’t one of the celeb readers…
She helped Kingston and Zuma decorate stickers placed in books being donated to School on Wheels, Ready Set Read and L.A. Family Housing.
Star Trek star Chris Pine, who’s voicing Jack Frost in the books’ upcoming movie adaptation, Rise of the Guardians, read to the kids from The Guardians of Childhood book series.
Also present was Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet, who told me there’s “no doubt in my mind that one day I will be inspired to write a children’s book.
“With the reach that Jesse [Tyler Ferguson] and I have with families,” he said, “I think that is something most definitely in my future.”

Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, Jayma Mays and Rumer Willis were among the guests sipping Perrier-Jouët champagne at the premiere party for Paul McCartney’s three new “My Valentine” videos at his daughter Stella’s L.A. boutique.
Kevin McHale stopped by Sugar Factory at the Paris Las Vegas for an autograph session with fans. Later, the Glee star hosted a bachelor party for a friend at the hotel’s Chateau Nightclub & Gardens.
Chad Michael Murray and his fiancée Kenzie Dalton enjoyed a dinner with friends at Chicago’s Paris Club.
Also in the Windy City, E!’s own Giuliana Rancic played host to 400 women at Fab-Fest, an all-day benefit for breast and ovarian cancer support and advocacy group Bright Pink at the Four Seasons Hotel.
